International Day of Older Persons

We want to wish all our volunteers a very happy International Day for Older Persons

Their contribution to the wellbeing and academic needs of the children they look forward to seeing each week is a testament to the saying that “Seniors are the ones who bring out the best in you but not the stress in you”. As one of our volunteers said “Working with children is so rewarding. After one session when we were doing maths, one child suddenly looked up, smiled and said, I really understand this now!”
