Intergen-Trafford AGM took place on 20th June 2024 at Worthington Primary School. It was a joyful occasion which started with the school choir entertaining all present with three well received songs. The Chair, Pauline Castledine, made her address with reference to the Annual Report which had been sent out earlier in the month (it can be found under News). She reminded all that she would be stepping down as a Chair and emphasized again the need for more volunteers, inviting the attendees to take a copy of the Intergen publicity leaflet. Everyone thanked her warmly for the contribution she had made. Two new trustees were voted in; Sarah Jones the Head Teacher of Worthington and Annie O’Connor who has taken charge of the website and social media. She thanked everyone for coming and Sarah Jones for organising the room and the entertainment. Sarah took to the floor, wanting to empathise the importance that the school places on the contribution that the Intergen volunteers make. All guests then were treated to cakes and drinks served by some of the school children and the day ended with a raffle.
