Trustee, Treasurer & School Volunteer

I am a retired scientist from the Nuclear Industry with also a qualification in cognitive psychology. I have experience of volunteering, lately as a Macmillan walk leader and with Intergen since 2023.

I have been with Intergen for 16 years. I started as a volunteer after retiring as a primary school head teacher as I was aware of the need in schools for volunteers. I then became a coordinator and a trustee.

I joined Intergen in 2023 following retirement as a finance manager. I have 13 years of volunteering experience and I look forward to developing Intergen's online presence.

I am the Head Teacher at Victoria Park Infant School. I have been a Trustee since 2014 and I act as an advisor on all aspects of safeguarding and schools regulations.

I am the Headteacher at Worthington Primary School with a career spanning 28 years including various volunteering jobs. I joined Intergen in 2024, following in the footsteps of the previous Head.

I am a retired paediatric nursing sister with volunteering experience in many fields. I was a coordinator from 2014 to early 2026 and now contribute to the great work of Intergen-Trafford as a tustee.

I was a secondary school special needs specialist teacher and I started volunteering as a coordinator in April 2018. My husband has been volunteering with Intergen for many years and I noticed how much he enjoyed it.

I am a retired primary school teacher and I started volunteering as a coordinator in April 2018, sharing the role with Christine. I had had the benefit of having Intergen volunteers in my class, so was very keen to contribute.

I am a retired Family Court Welfare Officer. I have five grandchildren at local schools and they confirm my belief that supporting and reading with children helps build foundations for their future.

I have been a volunteer at Victoria Park Junior School since May 2024 and a coordinator since January 2026. As I live in Stretford I thought I would enjoy taking on the vacancy for a coordinator that was being advertised.
