Our coordinators are key to the success of Intergen-Trafford as they help recruit & support groups of volunteers in our partner-schools. If you are confident, love meeting people and are keen to learn new skills, then this role could be for you. We are growing, making it an exciting time to join the team.
Your main tasks are to:
- Contact prospective volunteers and meet them.
- Help volunteers with their application and DBS forms.
- Place volunteers in schools and help them settle in.
- Be the communication link between the schools and volunteers and between the schools, volunteers and Intergen-Trafford’s Board and office.
- Help organise and participate in the occasional get together and AGM.
- Attend volunteers’ recruitment events in your area.
- Attend monthly coordinators meetings.
Role requirements:
- Be able to communicate well and work co-operatively with people.
- Be patient and flexible and have a sense of humour.
- Be able to manage and resolve conflict.
- Have your own transport or be willing to use public transport
- Be organised and have good record-keeping abilities.
