Celebrating our 25th Anniversary

Having missed our 20 years anniversary in 2020 due to Covid, we will be celebrating our 25th anniversary milestone instead on 27 March 2025. We are very proud that despite the impact Covid had on our organisation, we were able to recover and then grow steadily. But because of Covid the need for help from our partner schools has grown too – two new schools have reached out to us in the last 6 months. Important to us too is knowing how much of an impact volunteering has on the older generation and on our own Golden Age volunteers. On 27 March, the Mayor of Trafford, Councillor Amy Whyte will be congratulating many such older people with more than 10 years volunteering. One of our past volunteers, replying to our invitation sums up  the dilemma they often have  “My 14 years with Intergen were so helpful, but arthritis forced retirement. I miss the kids…”
